Neurosis - An undying love for a Burning world

I thought the band would never come back, and without any warning ten years after what happened with Scott Kelly they are back ! With Aaron turner from Isis (And many more.) as their new singer its a match made in heaven. You can feel his influences everywhere on the record but it never betray Neurosis sound there is more synth here and there and even some more electronics sounds and his typical riffs who blends in so so well with the rest. But in the end it still Neurosis everything is there : The post rock builds, the crushing riffs ect. The band sound rejuvenated, as if they have something to prove to us that yes they are back, and yes despises everything they are still capable of making incredible music! I'll be honest i expected to be disapointed after all those very bad come-back album these past few years. Neurosis have been a very important band for me in my teenager years, when i first heard "Through silver and blood" it was life changing it got me into a new kind of music it helped me during rough times. So i was skeptical and kind of afraid that the band has lost their magic. But after listening to it multiple times not only its great,it's one of their best. Everything song hit perfectly, it's really is a beautiful album ! I wonder if it's truly a new begining or just a last dance for this time, not end their career in shame. And for the last word: FUCK SCOTT KELLY!
